Hello! That's me ➡️

I used machine learning to edit this image. Basically, the algorithm first found the six most common colors in the picture, then recolored every pixel to one of those most common colors, by closest match. This has the effect of “flattening” the image - the same method is used to convert pictures into grayscale. For added flair, I replaced one of the most common colors with blue. Who needs Instagram filters when you have python?

Thank you for visiting my portfolio. My projects aim to quantitatively measure aspects of culture and tell interesting stories through interactive data visualization. I typically use web scraping or APIs to collect the data used for the analyses.
